The wheel support roller are single- or two-crown ball bearings, self-retaining and particularly thick outer washers. These bearings absorb, in addition to high radial forces, also bi-directional axial forces. The surface mantle of the outer rings is rounded or cylindrical. Executions with rounded surface are used when, in the presence of oblique positions with respect to the running track, it is necessary to avoid overloads on the edges. Ball castors are available with inner washer, pin and plastic outer washer coating.
